By: Usman Abdullahi Koli  The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi has received donations of some medical kits targeted to be use for patients of Cub Foot and management, this followed signing of an MOU between the hospital and a donor agency, Health & Development Support Program (HAND).The items presented include POP in dozens, Ortho ban in dozens, Miracle feet brace orthotics in different sizes and a smart phone among other related medical equipments for the orthopedic department. Also the HAND organized a training for health personnel in the orthopedic department to rebuild their capacity as medical practitioners on the front line guiding policy and other professional responsibilties. Members of the public are advised to disregard the rumours, while the hospital continues to accord priority to patients. The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi received the donation of items necessary for healthcare delivery, the items were given to the hospital by a kindhearted personality who preferred not to be named saying he did so as a result of good gesture offered to his wife while she was admitted in the hospital. Some of the items received includes Syringe and needles, Cannulae, IVF normal saline, IVF Ringers Lactate, IVF Dextrose Water, Giving Set, E-Gloves, Surgical Gloves, Magnesium Sulphate, Diazepam, Calcium Gluconet, Labetalol, Urethral Cartheters, Urine Bags, Misoprostols, Oxytocin, Plaster and Facemasks. Dr. Rufa'i Abdu Dachi on behalf of the hospital while receiving the items appreciated the donator and urged well to do individuals in the society to emulate the gesture.
