MACOSA president applauds students for dedicating their times By Comrade Abubakar Muhammadu The president of mass communication students' Association (MACOSA)  Abubakar Tatari Ali polytechnic bauchi chapter, has commended mass communication students for their dedication and sacrificing time towards attending the macosa week throughout its activities.  The president, Muhammad Umar Shehu made the commendation while presenting his vote of thanks to the participants at a one day public lecture organized by the Association on 16th June 2022 held at butterfly lecture hall in the polytechnic.  Muhammad Umar Shehu further called on the upcoming journalists to put into practice the series of lectures learnt during the occasion as would go along way of promoting their future.  He finally used the medium to thanked the guest speakers, lecturers, students as well as invited and non invited ones at the event, prayed Allah for the safe returning to their destinations.

They reiterated that women and girls are still being discriminated in the society whenever they are experiencing menstruation,  The stakeholders pointed out that  many girls don't have equal opportunity to attend the same hours in classes with their boys counterparts. NRC to construct five kilometer rail tract in Bauchi.  By: Sani Adamu Hassan  The North Eastern District of the Nigerian Railway Corporation is to construct five kilometre  railway ttack from Bauchi to Inkil allong Baucbi -Gombe  road to run excursion train for children. This was disclosed by the new District Manger for the North Eastern District, Bauchi, Comrade  Aliyu Marina Sara, who has since taken over from.thw outgone RDM-Engineer Ali Miko Bichi while interacting with journalists in his office on Monday. Mainasara explained that the Eastern District has not ran a single train for seven years due to many challenges including insecurity and vandalisation of its track all over the country. He said the District is also faced challenge of laxk of functional tracks to move the locomotive but believes all things are possible.
