By Muhammad Umar Shehu The Nigerian troops operation thunder strike/whirl punch have killed fifty five bandits in Labi general area along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road. This was disclosed to newsmen by Director of media operation, Maj.-Gen. Benard Onyeuko, in Abuja yesterday. Maj. Benard said the bandits came under airstrikes during the duel which aided the ground forces to effectively engage the bandits and neutralise them. In another development, army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, said dead bodies of many kidnap victims littered the camps of Indigenous People of Biafra and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network. He also said the bodies were decomposing when the troops raided the den on Wednesday.
